Many of you are just finding out that the contribution limits for those eligible to use a ROTH IRA have increased this year.
If you are under the age of 50 you can invest $5500 using your ROTH IRA. Last year it was only $5000.
If you are over the age of 50 you can invest $6500 using your ROTH IRA. Last year it was only $6000.
As beneficial as this news will be to many who are saving for retirement, it is not the most important attribute of your ROTH IRA account.
Common Wall Street practices include Market Timing, Costly Fund Turnover, The Killing Off of under-performing mutual funds, Track Record Investing, and Hot Stock Picks that are almost guaranteed to be darlings today and dogs tomorrow.
